Sadly Tom Petty passed away last week. This post is a homage to this American rocker that since the late seventies has delighted rock fans with his awesome output through many years.
This video is a great live rendition of “Surrender”, an outtake originally intended to be included on the “Damn the torpedos” álbum (1979) but sadly discarded. It´s taken from a great live show at Santa Monica (12/31/78) that you can easily find on its entirety on “You Tube”. R.I.P. Tom.
